Obesity is a serious problem nowadays as the stats have double compared to what they were back in the year 1980. Obesity occurs when there is a disproportion between the amount of calories burned and the amount of calories consumed.

Fat may also start accumulating inside our body as a result of a lack of physical activity, change in our environment and an increase in the consumption of such food items that are high in calories. Looks are really important nowadays and our social as well as work life is dependent on our looks therefore people have become really conscious about their weight and resort to various diet program for this purpose. Some people tend to starve themselves and indulge in fasting so that they can reduce the amount of intake of their calories. But this is not a solution as it may work initially but in the long run it is bound to do us more harm than good.

Even if you lose weight as a result of starvation and fasting but it will come at the cost of various health complications like loss of muscle, decrease in the amount of your hemoglobin as well as fatigue.If there is a sudden reduction in the amount of your food intake then your body will automatically go into survival mode and as a result it will try and retain water and other nutrients and slow down the process of calorie burning. As a result you will appear bloated and even ruin your health.
